Caddo Parish schools will be closed from Monday, November 25, 2024, through Friday, November 29, 2024, in observance of Thanksgiving Break. Classes will resume on Monday, December 2, 2024. Enjoy the holiday!

🗑️ Shreveport Thanksgiving Garbage Collection Schedule

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 28, 2024, there will be changes to the Shreveport garbage collection schedule:

Monday, November 25: No change in garbage collections.
Tuesday, November 26: No change in garbage collections.
Wednesday, November 27: Thursday’s garbage will be collected.
Thursday, November 28: Holiday – No garbage will be collected. Shreveport City offices will be closed.
Friday, November 29: No change in garbage collections.

Additional Information:

No bulk collections will be scheduled during this week. All heavy items called in will be scheduled for a future collection day.
The Woolworth Road Regional Solid Waste Facility (Landfill) will be closed on Thursday, November 28.
